发明名称 SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNET
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting magnet which has heat insulating supporters which are small in size and have high strength against a sidewise load by a method wherein a plurality of conical FRP heat insulating members are provided coaxially and the small diameter side of the innermost cone is fixed to a low temperature part and the large diameter side of the outermost cone is fixed to a high temperature part. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting coil 1 housed in a cryogenic container 2 which is surrounded by a radiation shield 3 and, further, the shield 3 is surrounded by a vacuum chamber 4. The weight of the coil 1 and the cryogenic container 2 is applied to the vacuum chamber 4 through heat insulating supporters 20. The flange 7 of the heat insulating supporter 20 is attached to the cryogenic container 2 with bolts. The small diameter side of a conical FRP member 6 is pinched between a tightening metal fitting 8 and a tightening bolt 9 and fixed to the flange 7. The large diameter side of the conical FRP member 6 is linked with the small diameter side of another FRP member 5 through a tightening metal fitting 10a and a folding metal fitting 12. Further, the linking part between the large diameter part of the FPR member 6 and the folding metal fitting 12 is tightened with the tightening metal fitting 10a and tightening nuts 11. With this constitution, a part having the highest stress coincide with a part having the lowest temperature, so that owing to the characteristics of FRP that the lower the temperature, the higher the strength, the high allowable load of the FRP member 6 can be employed.
