The apparatus makes it possible to subject approximately 1000 colour and/or high-definition kinescopes to a LIFE TEST of approximately 90 weeks. It is also possible to perform a different cycle of testing up to around 72 hours, known as PRAM TEST AND SPECIAL TESTS. In the course of the aforesaid tests, the colour and high- definition kinescopes receive both voltage and video signals such as to simulate the normal operation of a kinescope. In the course of these tests, all the technical characteristics of the kinescopes are checked in order to investigate the operating characteristics of the kinescopes and the degradation over time. <IMAGE> |
