<p>PURPOSE:To accurately and rapidly detect a target even in beam scanning over a wide range and to determine the position of said target by providing a memory storing the presence of the target in three-dimensional space. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of a receiver is digitized by an A/D converter circuit 6 and integrated at every range pin by a video integrating circuit 7 and the data of the presence of a target at every range pin is obtained by a target signal detection circuit 8. The synchronous signal of azimuth angle/dip and elevation is calculated by an azimuth disc control circuit 10 to obtain a transmitting and receiving radio wave directional position. On the basis of said position, a memory control part 15 temporarily stores the target presence data in a distance direction from the circuit 8 in the 'memory 1' 9 corresponding to the azimuth angle/dip and elevation and, next, a center-of-gravity position detection circuit 16 detects one memory corresponding to a target center-of-gravity position from a signal becoming the presence of the target over a plurality of memories continuing to both of a distance direction and an azimuth angle/dip and elevation direction and said memory is stored in a 'memory 2' 17 as the presence of the target in three-dimensional space. By this method, the target is accurately and rapidly detected and the position thereof can be determined.</p> |
