PURPOSE:To make a video tape container suitable for use as a letter case by providing on the peripheral surface thereof an indicating part consisting of letters, figures, symbols or combinations thereof shown in a normal standing position with an opening part as the top and a closed part opposite thereto as the bottom. CONSTITUTION:A video tape container has an opening pat 2, notch parts 3 and an indicating part 4. Each notch part 3 is formed at each of the edges of the two sides opposite each other of the opening part 2. The notch parts 3 may be symmetrical in shape or a notch part 3a and a notch part 3b may b unsymmetrical in shape. The letters in the indicating part 4 of the side face having the notch pat 3a are shown in a normal standing position with the open ing part 2 as the top and a closed part 5 as the bottom, while the letters on the side face having the notch part 3b may be shown in the inverted position with the opening part 2 as the top and the closed pat 5 as the bottom. If a pocket 7 capable of taking in and out paper is provided on the side face having the indicating pat 4 and used, for example, as a letter case, a name card put in the pocket 7 makes the name of a person who uses the letter case easily identifiable. |
