Condensed diazepinones of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which <IMAGE> is one of the divalent radicals <IMAGE> X is a =CH group or a nitrogen atom, R is a lower alkyl radical which can optionally also be substituted by a phenyl which optionally carries halogen, methyl or methoxy, R<4> and R<5> are hydrogen, halogen or lower alkyl, R<6> is hydrogen, chlorine or methyl, R<7> and R<8> are lower alkyl, R<8> is additionally also halogen, and m, n, o and p are the numbers 0, 1, 2 or 3 with the following restrictions: the total of m + n and the total of o + p is in each case the numbers 1, 2 or 3, the total of n + o and the total of m + p is in each case the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, but where the total of m + n + o + p must always be greater than 2, and A<1>, A<2>, A<3>, A<4> are hydrogen or, in the case where m, n, o and p are each the number 1, A<1> and A<2> together or A<3> and A<4> together are an ethylene bridge, are suitable for the therapy of cholinergically related spasms and motility disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract, in the biliary tract, for the symptomatic therapy of cystitis and of spasms associated with urolithiasis, for the therapy of relative incontinence, for the symptomatic therapy of bronchial asthma and of bronchitis, and for the therapy of ischaemic heart diseases. The compounds are distinguished by good selectivity. |
