Pivotted seat beam for vehicle to wheelchair transfer

A pivotted, cantilevered seat beam mounted within a motor vehicle supports a pivotted seat in such a way that a disabled occupant can rotate and position the beam and seat, in a plane of arc approximating to horizontal, in order to facilitate their transfer between seat and wheelchair, and vice versa. The beam's scope of use can be optionally extended by incorporating a mechanism for matching the vehicle seat's height with that of the user's wheelchair as the beam is deployed. The three axes of movement can be individually controlled, and either manually powered or servo assisted.
