发明名称 ULTRASONIC METHOD FOR FLAW-DETECTING INSPECTION
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable detection of a minute defect of a body to be inspected of which the diameter is several tens of millimeters or below, by a method wherein the central axis of curvature of a curved surface part and the central axis of a probe are made eccentric and an angle of refraction of an ultrasonic wave is set to be 90 degrees, while the probe having a curved surface of the same kind with that of the curved surface part and comprising a probe tip part of which the radius of curvature is 1.0 to 3.0 times as large as that of the curved surface part is employed. CONSTITUTION:The probe tip part of a probe 1 facing a body 2 to be inspected is formed to be a curved surface of the same kind with the curved surface of the body 2, and the radius (r) of curvature of the curved surface of the fore-end part is formed to be 1.0 to 3.0 times or preferably 1.5 to 2.5 times as large as the radius R of curvature of the body 2. Moreover, the probe 1 has a vibrator 5 joined to lead wires 4 laid through a damper 3 from a connector 7 connected to an ultrasonic transmitter receiver, and in the probe tip part facing the body to be inspected, an acoustic lens 6 is in close contact with the vibrator 5. By employing the probe thus constructed, a minute defect in the body to be inspected which has the curved surface having a diameter of several tens of millimeters or below can be detected.
