<p>PURPOSE:To set a proper allowable input speed corresponding to a maximum input speed estimated in accordance with the size of an input frame by detecting the position coordinates and the movement speed of the penpoint of an input pen and determining an allowable input limit speed by detected position coordinates to decide whether next detected coordinates are effective or not. CONSTITUTION:Plural X electrodes 2 and Y electrodes 3 are arranged in a matrix on a tablet plate 1. The position coordinates and the movement speed of the penpoint of an input pen 7 on the tablet plate 1 are detected, and the allowable input limit speed is determined by detected position coordinates, and it is decided whether next detected coordinates are effective or not in accordance with the allowable input speed limit and the pen movement speed. Thus, the proper allowable input speed corresponding to the maximum input speed estimated in accordance with the size of the input frame is set, and the follow-up capacity to the high-speed input is improved at the time of a large input frame and the speed is severely limited at the time of a small input frame to improve the removal effect of erroneous measurement due to noise.</p> |
