DRUG USED FOR TREATMENT OF DISEASE RELATIVE TO THE INTERNAL EXISTENCE AND/OR PRODUCTION OF CYTOCAINE

PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical that contains arachidonic acid or its analog and is useful for therapy of symptoms of cold and influenza. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical contains arachidonic acid or its analog (a compound that provides at least 50% inhibition of interferon-inducible antiviral condition, preferably 90% inhibition) which is able to interfere with bonding of cytokine (for example, interferon of type I or II) to a cytoreceptor for the cytokine. As the aforementioned analog, 5,8,11,14-eicosatetraenoic acid, 5,8,11- eicosatrienoic acid, linoleic acid,γ-linolenic acid, dihomo-γ-linolenic acid, adrenic acid, ketokonazol, nordihydroguaiaretinoic acid, quercetin, or their salts. This pharmaceutical is used for inhibiting undesirable effects (e.g. body pain, fatigue, pyrexia).
