A capacitor winding (4) is installed in a metallic housing (5). The winding (4) has electrode foils (7, 9), projecting on both end sides, which are in thermal contact with the base (6) and a metallic plate (16). The thermal bridges formed in this way ensure better thermal dissipation in the event of high alternating current loads.
