PURPOSE:To readily achieve multiple copying on both sides by selecting a synthetic mode when a double-sided recording mode is selected and recording a prescribed image on the same sheet where double-sided copying is performed in a multiple recording mode. CONSTITUTION:With the double-sided recording mode selected, a setting means 41 further selects the synthetic mode, whereby a control means 42 controls an image forming means according to an output from the setting means 41, and records a prescribed image on the same sheet, where double-sided copying is performed in the double-sided recording mode, in the multiple recording mode. Consequently, plural images can be multiple-recorded on both sides of a recording sheet, and plural images can be multiple-recorded at any individual designated locations of the same surface of the sheet, thereby synthesizing plural images. |
