<p>PURPOSE:To provide a variable capacitor which can adjust capacitance with a perfectly closed structure being maintained by providing a cap wherein a rotor is rotatably accommodated and an adjusting hole for rotating and operating the rotor is formed in the upper surface of the cap. CONSTITUTION:A cap 4 comprises a metal and has such a shape as to accommodate a rotor 3 rotatably. The lower surface of the cap 4 serves as an opening 16 which is closed by a stator 2. An adjusting hole 17 for exposing a driving groove 15 in order to rotate and operate the rotor 3 is formed in the upper surface of the cap 4. The peripheral part of the hole 17 of the cap 4 serves as a spring part 18 for applying spring action by which the rotor 3 compresses the stator 2. It is preferable that the cap 4 is constituted of stainless steel. Therefore, it is not necessary to break a cover sheet as in a conventional device when the capacitance is adjusted. After the adjustment of the capacitance, the perfectly closed structure can be maintained.</p> |
