PURPOSE:To automatically apply printing to an accurate position of a printed wiring board by a printer and to continuously apply printing on a plurality of printed wiring boards vertically set in a multistage by a method wherein a multistage support part which supports the printed wiring boards in a multistage independently of each other and allows the free insertion of extraction is disposed below a head of a printer. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of printed wiring boards 1 are respectively supported by stages of right and left support rails 21 of a multistage support part 20 mounted on a base mount 6 of a device. After the two or more printed wiring boards 1 are supported and set in the two or more stages of the multistage support part 20 in this manner, by a head 2 of a printer A, an item number or the like is printed on the predetermined position of the printed wiring board 1 disposed on the upmost stage. After the completion of printing on the printed wiring board 1 on the upmost stage, the printed wiring board 1 already subjected to printing is extracted forward. Then, a printed wiring board 1 on the second stage is disposed upmost. The head 2 of the printer A lowers to apply printing on the predetermined position of the printed wiring board 1 newly disposed on the upmost position. The printed wiring board 1 already subjected to printing is extracted. An item number or the like is successively printed on the printed wiring boards 1 vertically arranged in a multistage again in the same order. |
