PURPOSE:To attain area filling without changing the outline of a required character by erasing the display of the 2nd segment or point at the time of area filling operation. CONSTITUTION:When picture element data are supplied to an outline deciding circuit 5, an inversion signal is sent to an area filling circuit 6. Thereby, picture elements included in the area arranged on the right side from the picture element cencerned are inverted and is area filled in each supply to the circuit 6. When picture element data indicating the end of the area filling are supplied to the circuit 5, the sending of the inversion signal to the circuit 6 is stopped. |
