PURPOSE:To adjust the expansion of an air bag main body at optimum by forming a rear side member of the air bag main body formed with a gas injection port in a pattern weave, and arranging the single weave section and double weave sections of the pattern weave in the specific state respectively. CONSTITUTION:The air bag main body 12 of an air bag device 11 is formed with a front side member 14 and a rear side member 15 made of a circular fabric, and their outer peripheries 14a and 15a are sewn 17 together. The rear side member 15 is formed in a pattern weave 21. The pattern weave 21 is formed with a single weave section 22 and double weave sections 23. Many double weave sections 23 are formed in a small circular shape and arranged at a proper interval. The single weave section 22 is arranged at the outer periphery edge section 15a of the rear side member 15 and the periphery section 15b of the injection port 19, thus the sticking strength to the gas injection port 19 side and the sewing strength of a sewn section 17 are improved respectively. |
