PURPOSE:To increase a capacity of an air cleaner and install it with a shock absorber moved to the side of an engine by extending right and left sides of an air cleaner forward passing right and left sides of the shock absorber, and connecting its extended edge to a carburetor with a joint tube. CONSTITUTION:A carburetor 11 is connected to the suction passage of an engine 10, which is supported by the part surrounded by a down tube, rear pipe 2h, etc. of a vehicle body frame 2, through a cab-joint 11a, and an air cleaner device 20 is connected to the carburetor 11 through a joint tube 19. The air cleaner device 20 is provided with an air cleaner case 21 where the left and right flat-headed cases 23, 24 are installed removably on the left and right side surfaces of a central case 22. Besides, the right and left side parts of the front wall of the central case 22 and the right and left cases 23, 24 are extended forward, bypassing the right and left side of a shock absorber 18 to surround the shock absorber 18 in a rear wheel suspension device and insert the rear edge of the joint tube 19 into the extended part of the central case 22. |
