PURPOSE:To obtain the lightweight ultrasonic flaw detection device which enables the presence position of a defect to be found at a glance by removing the A-scope display monitor of an ultrasonic flaw detector and displaying an A scope on the display of a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:An A/D & counter board 21 inputs a flaw detection waveform and a flaw detection timing signal from the pulser receiver part 22 of the ultrasonic flaw detector 1 and generates a flaw detection gate according to data on a gate start point and an end point supplied from the personal computer 4 through a bus driver board 23 and a photocoupler 24. Echo height and a beam path length value obtained by the ultrasonic flaw detector 1 are read by the personal computer 4 to display the A scope on the display of the personal computer 4. Thus, the presence position of the defect is found at a glance and the lightweight ultrasonic flaw detection device is obtained. |
