<p>PURPOSE:To detect malfunction of a clutch coil and an electromagnetic clutch driver and to disengage an electromagnetic clutch in the case of the malfunction by providing a first transistor, a second transistor and a sensor resistor at the terminal of the coil to control it. CONSTITUTION:An essential section is composed of a signal processor 11, terminals T10-T12, a first transistor(Tr)17a, Tr17b, a clutch coil 9a, connectors CN1, CN2, a resistor R1 as a current sensor, a ground E, and a power source line B. The Trs 17a, 17b are simultaneously turned ON, and a current IR flowing to the resistor R1 is detected by the processor 1. The operating state of the coil 9a is analyzed with the current IR, and normal or abnormal state of the current IR value is detected. Thus, the clutch 9a can be disengaged at the time of emergency to avoid its danger.</p> |
