The fibrous-material grinding device comprises a housing (1, 21) which includes at least one material inlet (2,37) and at least one material outlet (3, 38). A cylindrical, rotatable grinding device (4, 24) is mounted in the housing. Disposed around the rotatable grinding device (4, 24) is a number of stationary grinding devices (5, 30) which can be urged towards the rotatable device. The stationary grinding devices (5, 30) define together with the rotatable grinding device (4, 24) a grinding gap in which fibrous material is worked. The fibrous material is transported from the at least one inlet (2, 27) to the at least one outlet (3, 38) by rotation of the rotatable grinding device (4, 24). The stationary grinding devices (5, 30) can be urged towards the rotatable grinding device by means of pressing device (8, 31). |
