<p>PURPOSE:To monitor a connection node at all times in each trunk unit by providing a connection node information transfer time slot to each trunk, adding its own node information to received connection node information and sending the resulting information to other trunk. CONSTITUTION:Frame phase synchronization processing sections (12-1)-(12-3) are provided on a time division multiplexer 11 and a received data is fetched by connection node information transfer time slots (14-1)-(14-3) assigned respectively to trunks (13-1)-(13-3). It own node information is added to received connection node information relating to other trunks than its own trunk and the resulting information is sent to its own trunk, thereby transferring the connection node information between nodes. Thus, each node monitors the connection node for each trunk at all time.</p> |
