PURPOSE: To form desired surface patterns on the surface of a web independent of the depth of penetration of needles by guiding a brush-like pierceable support having hair flocks corresponding to the desired patterns around a web-turning roller. CONSTITUTION: A brush-like piercing stand 1 is constituted by vertically planting hair flocks 3 formed by combining hair-bundles 8 having different lengths and density distributions corresponding to predetermined patterns to the main body 7 of a brush. The brush-like piercing stand 1 is installed to a pulling means 4 through a supporting device 5 and brought to contact to a web by guiding it around the turning rollers of a needle punching device with moving to the direction pointed by an arrow 6.
