A metal tag comprises a spear portion 1 for soldering to printed circuitry on a panel in which it is inserted, and an extending blade 3 for receiving a slotted electrical component, flanges 5 on the blade forming a rest for the component which is retained by a bent-over lug 6 on the blade. The blade 3 may be curved and the lug 6 may be used as a terminal for a wirewound component. One of the tags is used at each end of components such as cylindrical resistors. |
