PURPOSE:To measure the moisture content of material to be measured in a moving state continuously, by using a pair of circular electrodes contacting with the material to be measured by a rolling contact. CONSTITUTION:One end side of each 7 arms 7, 7' is supported at both ends of a supporting arm 6 freely rotatably and also, freely rotatable ring-shaped electrodes 1, 1' are attached by shafts 3, 3' near the free end side of the arm 7, 7'. Further, electrically conductive rotating bodies 11, 11' are circumscribed with the electrodes 1, 1' and also, these bodies 11, 11' are attached on the arms 7, 7' by shafts 9, 9'. An electric current corresponding to the moisture content of material to be measured flows on said material by providing the electrodes 1, 1' so as to bring into contact with the material to be measured and conducting an electric current to the electrodes 1, 1' from lead wires 16, 16' through the bodies 11, 11'. |
