The invention relates to a process for producing boards 13 by laminating together paper layers 1, 4, 8, 10 situated one upon the other. In the process, porous paper, consisting, for example, of kraftliner, is impregnated with bonding resin, such as phenol or melamine resin, and stacked as a batch 9, which batch is laminated by pressing it at high temperature and, after the pressing, is broken apart with the aid of an adhesive which has been applied to the batch, so that the result of a pressing contains at least two laminated boards. According to the invention, a mixture of soap and mineral component consisting of a metallic salt of fatty acid and resin acid is used as the adhesive, for example a mixture of Zn-stearate and slaty kaolin. The splitting of the batch 9 can be induced by bonding two paper layers 1, 4 together by means of the adhesive and applying them to the batch between the paper layers 8 situated one upon the other, whereupon the said bonded together paper layers are laminated in the pressing operation as part of the resultant boards 13 and the adhesive brings about the release of the boards. <IMAGE>
