Animal-drawn vehicle including a chassis (2) and means - of the shafts or drawbar (6) type - for rigid connection to the draught animal or animals, in which: on the front of the chassis (2) is rigidly fixed a tubular sleeve (4) which is internally an axisymmetric cylinder; the rigid connection means are chosen from among a drawbar (6) for harnessing to two animals abreast, and a U-shaped piece for use as shafts for harnessing to a single animal, these two members including, towards the rear, an axisymmetric cylindrical insertion piece (7) capable of being engaged in the sleeve, and removable immobilisation means securing the drawbar or the piece for use as shafts axially to the sleeve, whilst leaving the piece for use as shafts free to rotate about its axis in the sleeve. <IMAGE>
