The invention relates to an automatic clutch system essentially consisting of a plate secured to the driving shaft, equipped with 4 peripheral satellite gears meshing on a central gear secured to the transmission (prop) shaft. The satellite gears have their centres of gravity offset. From beyond 1000 rpm, the centrifugal force becomes sufficient to retard the satellite gears. The central gear is then driven progressively and at around 1500 rpm the transmission is wholly provided. <IMAGE>
