PURPOSE:To improve mechanical characteristics and adhesive strength while retaining flame retardancy by molding a resin compsn. wherein a phenol resin and a thermoplastic resin compatible therewith are main components into a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is obtd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. phenol resin which is pref. a liq. resol-type phenol resin, 10-400 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin compatible therewith selected from copolymerized nylon, polyvinyl formal and polyvinyl butyral, 0-50 pts.wt. epoxy resin and, if necessary, a flame retardant, a filler, a dye, a curing accelerator, a reaction retarder, etc. A thin sheet is prepared by such a method as coating thinly a release paper with this compsn. |
