<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish a recording check function without extending a new key by reproducing a signal by operating a reproducing key in a recording pause mode that the recording of a signal is started by operating a recording trigger switch. CONSTITUTION:When a recording trigger key is turned on, a capstan control circuit 4 feeds a tape in a forward direction and the recording of a video signal is started by a recording and reproducing system circuit 5. When the reproducing key is operated in a recording pause state, on the other hand, the tape is fed in a reverse direction and reproducing in the reverse direction is started. At such a time, O is registered for a variable T in a tape traveling amount measur ing circuit 6, where the variable T is counted by one every time the tape is fed by a specified amount. The variable T is always transmitted to the CPU 1. When the variable T attains a specified value, the tape is fed in the forward direction and ordinary reproducing is started. In the case of the variable T=0, reproducing is finished and the device is restored to the recording pause state. Thus, what is called wreck review is accomplished.</p> |
