PURPOSE:To reduce the driving force of an automatic door when closing the door so as to enhance safety by providing a means to switch open mode to close mode or vice versa and a means to control a motor so that in the close mode the driving force of the door is smaller than that in the open mode. CONSTITUTION:A switching control device 1 comprises an automatic door 3, a DC mode unit 2b having a DC motor 2, and a control portion 4a the center of which is a controller portion 4 consisting of microcomputers etc. A command to open and that to close the door 3 are selectively output from the controller portion 4 to a rotating logic circuit 12 and open mode is switched to close mode or vice versa while the direction of rotation of the motor 2 is designated, and the command to open or close the door is sent to a current limiter circuit 5 to set a current control value to a predetermined value. In the close mode, the driving force of the door 3 is smaller than that in the open mode so that the door 3 can be stopped manually in the event that a person is caught in the door 3. |
