TREATMENT DEVICE OF COMBUSTION GAS

PURPOSE:To reduce concentration of poisonous gas and a noise without deteriorating combustion efficiency of an engine by charging an adsorption member mainly composed of carbon fiber and carbon grains within an outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An adsorption member 11 mainly composed of carbon fiber and carbon grain is charged within an outer cylinder 2 to which an input pipe 1 and an output pipe 9 of combustion gas are connected in a treatment device 10. Carbon monoxide in the combustion gas is changed into carbon dioxide. Gaseous hydrocarbon such as methane gas is adsorbed by the adsorption member 11 by the function of the carbon fiber as deodorant. It is therefore possible to reduce concentration of poisonous gas included in the combustion gas and reduce a noise level at an outlet of the treatment device based on characteristic of the carbon fiber composing the adsorption member 11 as sound absorbing material.
