PURPOSE:To actuate sufficiently a lumber support mechanism by forming a sufficient movement regulating space in the rear of a support plate of the lumber support mechanism, by a method wherein the support plate is arranged on a projected part formed on a top force of a foam molding die and molding is performed by coating the front of the same with a peelable sheet. CONSTITUTION:A skin material 3 of a seat back 1 is arranged on a bottom force 22. A seat back frame 2 is supported by a pair of set pins 27 of a top force 23 a support plate 12 is arranged on a projected part 25 and a synthetic resin sheet 18 is fitted to the plate 12 beforehand or after the arrangement. A stock solution of foam synthetic resin is cast inside of the skin material 3 of the bottom force 22, a pad material 4 is foam-molded by performing die register. Then mold break is performed, the seat back 1 is taken out of a foam molding die 21, the support plate 12 of the lumber support mechanism 6 is moved backward and the sheet 18 is peeled off. With this construction, the seat back 1 with a built-in lumber support mechanism 6 is obtained. |
