PURPOSE:To provide the subject compositions having a synergistic increased herbicidal activity and a wide herbicidal spectrum and capable of selectively controlling a wide range of weeds by combining three kinds of herbicides having different herbicidal mechanisms and spectrums, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition contains (A) a thiol carbamate herbicide of formula I, (B) a sulfonylurea herbicide of formula II and (C) a triazole herbicide of formula III (R<1> and R<2> are alkyl) having different herbicidal mechanisms and spectrums, respectively, as active ingredients in an A/B/C weight ratio of 1/0.001-1/0.001-10, especially 1/0.005-0.6/0.01-0.1, the subject composition enabling to selectively control without damaging rice control-difficult perennial weeds generated in rice fields in far smaller amounts of the ingredients and in the far wider range of right growing seasons than those in the case of the single employment of each ingredient due to the strong synergistic activities of the simultaneously employed three ingredients. |
