PURPOSE: To obtain a preparation composition for oculopathy effective for reducing excessive permeability of ciliary body blood vessel of eye, comprising anthocyanidin as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises a compound of the formula (R is H or OH; X<-> is 1 equivalent of a pharmacologically permissible anion) such as pelargonidin (R=H) or delphidin (R=OH) as an active ingredient. The composition is applied by constitutional administration, oral administration or local administration to eye and is effective for reducing permeability of blood barrier of eye, treating denatured retinopathy, near sight, eye diabetic complication and secondary oculopathy by blood vessel, metabolic diseases or retina anaphylaxis.
