METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ASYMMETRICAL LAMINATION WINDOW BY CALENDER MACHINING AND PREFABRICATED BAND FOR EXECUTING SAID METHOD

PURPOSE: To significantly reduce a loss of a material for flexible sheets which constitute a laminated glazing by arranging plural blanks at a uniform interval on a band formed of a flexible support film when assembling a support with the flexible sheet. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated continuous band 1 formed of a support film 2 made of paper or a plastic material and plural blanks 3 made of optically high quality, is retained under tension by an upper tension roller 18. When a support 13 arrives at an upstream conveyor 16, a frame 5 gyrates to perpendicularly place the rising edge of the support 13 on a pressing plane. The support 13 is driven by a lower roller 7 and the blanks 3 are pressed on the support 13 by a pressure roller 8 to be assembled together and at the same time, are separated from the support film 2 to which tension is applied. The frame 5 gyrates until it reaches a perpendicular position equivalent to half the assembling operation and further, the upper part of the frame 5 tilts toward a conveyor 17 in the downstream for the rest of the assembling operation. The produced glazing 15 s received by the downstream conveyor 17.
