PURPOSE:To realize an operation to surely operate an image pickup device and a display means by providing a means to select plural operating modes of a photographic optical system, a means to store an operating state and a means to control the system at a stored operating state compulsorily. CONSTITUTION:A zoom lens 5 is moved by controlling a driving circuit 19 with the operation of a zoom switch in an operating part 25, and an AF control signal is supplied to a focusing motor driving circuit 18, and the driving of a focusing lens 1 is controlled with a motor 2. An auto frame mode in which an automatic zoom lens 5 is adjusted, and a focus memory mode or a zoom memory mode in which the focusing lens 1 or the zoom lens 5 is controlled compulsorily with another operation are provided, and the operating mode is switched at every depression of a mode select button, and simultaneously, a selection mode is displayed. |
