A rectangular, sheath-like holder (12) to be carried by a person and for holding a plastic drink flask (10) and a radio unit (13); the flask is removable from the holder (12), independent of the radio for filling with water, chilling or freezing and drinking therefrom, the holder (12) has an integral belt clip (14), and carry strap anchorages (28, 29) are also provided; the radio unit (13) is formed as a housing of front and rear mating split segments (13a, 13b), built-in electronic components are mounted on the rear surface of the front segment, the rear segment (13b) also has a resilient clip (14) formed on the outer surface to co-operate with slots (25, 27) formed in a rear wall (17) of the holder (12) to enable snap-locking and release of the holder (12) and radio unit (13) which has a battery access compartment (30) formed on the outer surface of the rear segment (13b) to enable battery replacement with removal of radio components from the housing. |
