PURPOSE:To obtain desired input/output characteristics by detecting the maxi mum value from digital signals in one frame and determining a target coeffi cient, and varying the coefficient in control clock units according to the target coefficient and the last coefficient so that the coefficient gradually approaches the target coefficient. CONSTITUTION:A maximum value detecting means 4 detects the maximum value Dmax in the frame (n) from the digital data Dn1 equivalent to one frame. This maximum value Dmax is supplied to a target coefficient output means 6 to calculate and output a coefficient GDn matching the maximum value Dmax. A current coefficient determining means 10 varies the current coefficient GTn1 from the last coefficient GFn-1 toward the target coefficient GDn gradually ion control clock units and then outputs the coefficient. A coefficient multiplying means 14 multiplies the digital data Dn1 by the current coefficient GTn1 and a D/A converting means 16 converts it into an analog signal and outputs the signal. |
