Measuring curvature of road with markings - ascertaining changes in yaw angle, angle between vehicle axis and marking and road direction from constant speed vehicle
摘要
Measuring the curvature of a path of motion with markings, esp. edge markings, involves driving a vehicle along it at a defined speed whilst measuring time related values for the change in the yaw angle, the angle (delta beta) between the vehicle's longitudinal axis and a part of the marking (1) in the region of the vehicle and the change in road direction. The measurements are made by instruments independent of the vehicle. USE/ADVANTAGE - Navigating road vehicles. Uses existing road markings, e.g. centre or edge lines.
