SLIPPERY FILM AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

A slippery film and a laminate thereof comprising an oriented film produced from a composition comprising a highly syndiotactic styrene polymer and 0.001 to 1 wt % of fine inorganic particles with a mean particle diameter of 0.01 to 3 mu m, wherein the surface roughness (Ra) is 0.005 to 0.03 mu m and the static coefficient of friction ( mu s) is 0.3 to 1.0. This film has high thermal resistance, mechanical strengths and electrical insulation properties, and excellent slipperiness and smoothness, so that it can be effectively used in various industrial applications.
