The goods transport vehicle has a platform lifted and lowered by a hydraulic scissor linkage and to which a van body is secured. The driver's cab is at the forward end and to one side, with a transfer ramp alongside it, extensible in the plane of the platform. A U-shaped portal frame (6) encloses the front part of the van body (15), and is extensible beyond it. Its forward end accommodates a folding bellows (7) of similar shape. A loading platform (9) is coupled to the forward end of the vehicle chassis (12) supporting the body platform (14), and there is a further one (3) at the body rear end. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easy one-man operation, being particularly for catering work with aircraft.
