PURPOSE:To provide a safe and convenient heating and cooking of a sea-weed by arranging a plurality of pairs of transporting rollers for holding the sea-weed and transporting it into a cooking chamber, a guide having an infra-red transparent characteristic, an infra-red ray heater for radiating the infra-red ray to the sea-weed and a reflector plate for reflecting the infra-red ray and radiating it to a rear surface of the sea-weed. CONSTITUTION:A sea-weed N is guided by a guide 8. The sea-weed is supplied from 8 feeding port 21a of a main body 2 into a pair of transporting rollers 3 at the transporting side. The sea-weed N is transported at a specified speed over the guide 5 within the cooking chamber 1 by a pair of transporting rollers at the transporting-in or transporting-out segments. Its surface is heated and cooked by the infra-red ray from the infra-red ray heater 6. A rear surface of the sea-weed N is heated and cooked by the infra-red ray reflected by the reflector plate 7 arranged below the guide 5. After cooking, the sea-weed is transported at a specified speed by a pair of transporting-out rollers 4 and then the sea-weed is discharged from the outlet port 22a onto the receiving pan 9. In this way, it is possible to make a uniform heating and cooking of both front and rear surfaces of the sea-weed by the infra-red ray heater 6 and the reflector plate 7. |
