The fillable tubular hoses are made from two or more strips (1, 2) drawn off from a roll, passed through a shaping unit and then welded together. A filler pipe (8) can be provided in the shaping unit. The side edges of the strips which are to be joined together can be guided in slits (24, 25) so that an even overlapping is achieved before the edges are welded together. Slide tongues (26, 27) fixedly yet detachably connected to the moulding part serve as a support during welding. A first filled tubular hose can be covered by an overwrap in a similar process. USE - To provide sturdy filled tubes in the building, food, medical and chemical industries etc.
