PURPOSE:To provide the subject cold-rolling oil having high mill-cleaning performance as well as high lubrication property and composed of a monoester compound of a polyalkylene glycol having decreased unsaturation degree. CONSTITUTION:The objective cold-rolling oil is composed of a polyalkylene glycol monoester compound expressed by formula I [R<1> is alkylene; R<2> is alkyl or aryl; R<3> is >=7C alkyl or alkenyl; 5<n<=40 (especially 10-20)] and having the unsaturation degree of <=0.025meq/g at the group of formula II, that is the alcohol group of the compound of formula I. |
