PURPOSE:To manufacture the ceramic compacted product without the generation of deterioration in the yield caused by deformation, cracks, etc., by burying a green compact obtd. from ceramic powder and an organic binder in activated carbon granular particles, subjecting it to degreasing under heating in an inert gas flow, thereafter to heating in an oxygen-contg. atmosphere, removing the activated carbon by oxidation and executing sintering. CONSTITUTION:A green compact compacted from a mixture of ceramic powder and an organic binder is buried in activated carbon granular particles in an air permeable sagger formed into a cylindrical shape or the like by a refractory material. Next, the green compact is heated to about 600 deg.C at about 20 deg.C/Hr temp.-raising rate in an inert gas atmosphere such as N2, Ar or the like and is degreased. After that, the atmosphere of a furnace gas is regulated to the oxygen-contg. one, and the activated carbon granular particles are removed by air oxidation. Successively, according to the properties of the ceramic green compact, the atmospheric gas is selected, and sintering is executed, by which the ceramic compacted product can be obtd. |
