<p>PURPOSE:To ensure water-tightness and bonding strength by locking a coneecting short tube into a ribbed tube, spreading sealant around, fixing the saddle part of a tube joint temporarily on the sealant surface and press-bonding by an elastic locking member. CONSTITUTION:A connecting short tube 23 is locked into a ribbed tube 1 provided with ring ribs 11, and sealant 3 is spread on the peripheral surface of the ribbed tube 1 around the connecting short tube 23. The saddle part 21 of a tube joint 2 is temporarily fixed on the surface of the sealant 3 so as to communicate the connecting short tube 23 with a short tube for faucet 24. A locking body 41 is them brought into contact with the surface of the saddle part 21 through an elastic body 46, and a locking band 42 is locked and tightened. A locking member 4 is formed of the locking body 41 and the locking band 42. The sealant 3 can be thus filled between the ribs without interstice to perform press-bonding, thereby ensuring warter-tightness and bonding strength.</p> |
