PURPOSE:To increase power and to improve the efficiency by crossing current collector electrode branches with protruding stripes and disposing current collector electrode backbones parallel to the stripes. CONSTITUTION:Protruding stripes 4, 4, 4,... of regular triangle section are formed on a stainless board 2, and a solar cell layer 1 made of amorphous n-, i- and p-type layers and a transparent conductive film is formed on the surface. Current collector electrode branches 3-1, 3-1,... of necessary number are so formed as to cross the stripes 4, 4,..., and current collector electrode backbones 3, 3 are so formed in parallel with the stripes 4, 4 as to couple the branches 3-1, 3-1,.... Accordingly, since charge is fed through the crests and troughs of the strips 4, the moving distance of the charge to the nearest branch from a point in which the charge is generated becomes twice as long as a plane distance when the branches 3-1 are crossed with the stripes 4 in the case that the section of the stripe 4 is regular triangle. Thus, power is increased, and its efficiency can be improved. |
