PURPOSE:To smoothly impart good surface patterns to the inorg. building board simultaneously with surface cutting by rotating sand paper supported on the outer peripheral surface of a toothed drum and thereby cutting the surface of the inorg. building board. CONSTITUTION:The toothed drum 3 having groove parts 2 on the outer peripheral surface is provided in the cutting part of the inorg. building board 1 and the sand paper 4 is wound onto the outer peripheral surface thereof in tight contact therewith. The toothed drum 3 is rotated in the direction shown by an arrow R to cut the surface of the inorg. building board 1 moving in an arrow B direction when the inorg. building board 1 is going to be cut by using the toothed drum 3. The surface to be cut by the sand paper 4 at this time is limited by the peak parts 5 of the toothed drum 3 and, therefore, the desired patterns can be imparted to the surface of the inorg. building board 1. Hard granular materials 6, such as coke, existing in the inorg. building board 1 can be escaped into the groove parts 2 of the toothed drum 3. The surface of the inorg. building board 1 is thus smoothly cut and patterned without damaging the surface. |
