PURPOSE:To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion composition having excellent aging stability and touch and suitable for cosmetics, etc., by comprising an oily phase component containing a specific amount of a specific silicone gel composition and a specified polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane surfactant. CONSTITUTION:A water-in-oil type emulsion composition comprises (A) 30-60wt.% of an oily phase component containing 60-100wt.% of a silicone gel composition comprising A1: a partially crosslinked organopolysiloxane polymer and A2: a low viscosity silicone oil, (B) 0.1-10wt.% of a polyoxyalkylene- modified organopolysiloxane surfactant of formula I [G1 and G2 are CH3, etc.; X is group of formula II (p=1-5; m=1-50; n=0-30; R1 is H, etc.); a=5-300; b=0-50] or formula III [a=1-30; b=0-50; c=5-300; R2 is 2-20C alkyl] and (C) 5-69.9wt.% of water. |
