<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat exchanging rate and dust collecting effect by fixing heat transmitting pipes to dust collecting pipes and/or discharge electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Numerous dust collecting plates 1 are disposed in parallel to the advancing direction of exhaust gas B, and provided with the heat transmit ting pipes 2 to both end of which water distributing pipes are connected. The supply pipes and the discharge pipes are so disposed that the fluid (low temp. fluid) is flowed in counter flow with the dust contg. gas (high temp. fluid). When the exhaust gas B is allowed to flow which corona discharge is generated between the discharge electrode 7 and the dust collecting plates 1, the fine particles in the exhaust gas are charged and adsorbed to the surface of the dust collecting plates 1. On the other hand, when water or organic solvent, etc., is allowed to flow in the heat transmitting pipes 2, the heat of the exhaust gas B is transferred to the low temp. fluid to be heated. At this time, the exhaust gas is allowed to flow in turbulent flow in the vicinity of the surface of the heat transmitting pipes 2 because ion wind is generated between the discharge electrodes 7 and the dust collecting plates 1, so that the heat exchang ing rate is sharply improved. Moreover, reverse polarizing phenomenon is prevented and the dust collecting efficiency is improved.</p> |
