Preparation of zirconia sintered body.

摘要

Zirconia sintered bodies are produced by injection molding a zirconia composition comprising zirconia powder and an organic binder and firing the molded composition. High density sintered bodies having strength, white transparency and smoothness are obtained when zirconia powder containing 2 to 10 mol% of yttria in solid solution form and having a specific surface area of up to 12 m<2>/g as measured by the BET method and a product of average particle size by specific surface area of up to 3 mu m.m<2>/g is used.
